Excel 2007 - The application below is designed for use with Excel 2001-2006, i.e. the 'standard' version of Excel used by most schools at this time.
This example is fully annotated to explain the key features of 4Matrix.
Excel 2007 - The new version of Excel was designed as part of the Vista compatible Office suite.
Schools are probably be aware that it is not backward compatible with previous versions.
This has meant that we have had to develop an additional version of 4Matrix to work in schools which no longer have Excel 2003-6 available on their system.
Of course, 4Matrix for Excel 2007 will not work with the older Excel 2003-6 versions.
NOTES Save
the example to somewhere convenient, like the desktop, and unzip the
application
by double-clicking the icon (with Winzip, PKzip, or similar installed). This is an advanced Excel
application. Before running this example on your computer
please check that your Excel application has been set to allow macros to run
(Tools > Macro > Security > Medium). Make sure Excel is not
running before running the example. Double click the icon to run it. Choose 'Enable Macros'. This is
safe to do. See the built-in User
Guide menu option for more details. Contact
